Tool Chests

Both of these tool chests were inspired by Christopher Schwarz and Megan Fitzpatrick of Lost Art Press. The “Anarchist Tool Chest” was the first one I made (2018) and it was completely done with all hand tools, no machines. It was also the last project that I completely built with only hand tools! I love hand tools but pick and choose when I want use them. I’m not a fan of dimensioning lumber and ripping 8/4 maple by hand. I built the “ATC” from his book The Anarchists Tool Chest and complimented that with a video he produced through Lie Nielsen Toolworks. The Dutch Tool chest is a recent build (Dec. 2022) and that was built with the aid of another video from Lie Nielsen Toolworks as well as multiple articles available on the web.
