Pen Display Case

These pen boxes were the first pieces that I ever designed myself as well as the first pieces ever commissioned by me. A very talented local pen turner, Ryan Jones of Roots and Jones, happened to purchase a bandsaw that I was selling and about a week or so after the sale he approached me to see if I could make him a pen display case. The first one was based of one that he already had and after making that one (the one below with the slanted lid) I designed a more contemporary looking box which I felt better suited the high end pens he makes.
